Fantastic food. Exactly what you want from a halal spot like this. Service was great! I got a free drink on my first visit- not on my second, but that's okay! Nothing too special with the ambiance, but that's not really what you're coming here for.

I'd eat Halal Brothers every week if I could. It's always on point and my order is always right. I do take out probably twice a month if not more. Moving out of the area and don't know how I'll replace such good consistent halal. I did visit the location once to pick up and it appeared clean and well run. Chicken and rice forever.

Their falafel gyro is soooo good and full of flavor! Not to mention they put salt AND pepper on their fries (take notes people). Reasonable price.

Outstanding! This I was such a great meal. I got the chicken platter with all three sauces. DO IT! The heat was perfect as it was chili sauce . I devoured a good portion of this before writing this review.

Thanks to quarantine, I'm pretty tired of getting the same halal delivery in town, so ventured across state lines to check this one out. I was greeted by a group of friendly guys who already had my chicken and rice platters ready to go. Yelp has a check in offer for free baklava....but since they were out they offered me kenepe cheese dessert instead (so nice). I was excited to dig into my platter after patiently having the aroma fill my car for 15 minutes. Hubby and I were super impressed when we saw the quantity of the portion. The chicken and rice were extremely flavorful and tasty. It also came with a small side salad to balance the meal. Their signature white sauce is just as good as Halal Guys, although they have absolutely made it their own. We decided we will absolutely be returning. The only star I'm taking off is because I did drive back during their listed operating hours and they were suddenly closed. It sucks having to endure traffic and finding parking in the busy block they are located to find out they are closing early randonly. So I would advise to call ahead to confirm their times and absolutely have their chicken and rice platter. Chicken Over Rice

I've been sorely missing the Halal trucks in Jersey City since the COVID-19 pandemic but thankfully I discovered Halal Bros through my fellow Yelper's reviews and decided to given them a try today. We ordered the falafel over rice and a chicken over rice with white sauce and hot sauce. Each platter priced at $8 and includes a soda. We also ordered a side of pita for $1. Everything was delicious and I have to say this is the best falafel around for miles. It was crispy on the outside and soft and perfectly spiced on the inside. The rice was also perfectly cooked and spiced as well and the sauces brought it all together. However, next time I'll ask for extra sauce on the side as I could have used some more. The owner was super friendly and accommodating as were the staff (I believe they may have been his daughters). I mentioned it was my first visit and he thanked me for coming and also threw in 2 free desserts which he explained were similar to baklava but with a custard in the middle. They were also delicious. I can't wait to come back again for more and I have a feeling that we may become regulars at Halal Bros.

So today was my fifth check-in! It's probably been a few more, but hey. This time I called in my order, and everything was provided exactly as requested upon arrival! Got a combo platter of chicken and lamb with extra white sauce. The white sauce is tangy and probably mayo based. Despite hating mayo, I can't get enough of this sauce and will conveniently ignore its base. Or maybe it's yogurt and I stand corrected? The meat was good and rice is tasty. The left 1/4 of the platter is shredded iceberg and tomato. Honestly not my favorite part of the dish but it's alright. They also include a beverage of your choice from the fridge. I went with boring deer park water and paired the cuisine with an alcohol free Heineken 0 at home. The hummus tastes like it's made in-house and goes well with the pita that likely isn't made in-house. Had a slight red peppery note that I enjoyed. A person of normal appetite can get 2 meals out of a platter. But don't feel guilty if you gobble it all down at once! You can always come back! A good local Trenton business with quality food, clean interior and nice staff. Oh and they give you real, usable paper napkins. Not those paper thin crappy pizzeria ones! Extra stars for that. ------------ Great spot for halal food in Trenton and environs! Very clean inside and located on the corner of Hamilton Ave and Washington St. It was easy to find street parking down Washington street a little bit. Yes, it's Trenton, so may be scared to go here. Just get over it and try this place out, you'll be glad you did. Portion sizes are huge and prices are very fair: $20 total for 2 chicken platters, 2 drinks, hummus, pita, and a free baklava for checking in on Yelp! The restaurant was very fresh and so clean, and the guy who took care of us was fast and friendly. Get extra white sauce, it's as delicious as you'd expect. Next time I'd like to try the gyro and maybe falafel. We don't live far so we ordered the food to go and it was ready in just a few mIt honestly isn't a place you'd go on a nice date or anything, but Halal Brothers is perfect for what it is: good NY style halal platters that aren't always easy to find around here.

I've never had a Halal platter before, when I first noticed this new business it reminded me of a local Afghan kabob place I really like. The location is in an area I'm not often in, but I was fairly close yesterday and was hangry and looking for some novelty. Gerald's review sounded promising, and I have to say I'm much in agreement with it. I was there late for n the afternoon( but not dark yet) and easily found parking on the side street. There was only one table seated of the about 12 available, the restaurant was very clean and happy workers greeted me at once. I chose the combo platter but with sauces on the side, an order of fries and also took advantage of the check in offer for a piece of baklava. My to go order was ready in about 3 minutes. Driving home the food smelled great, and when I finally unpacked it looked even better. The combo consisted of lamb and chhicken , rice on the bottom and a salad on the side. I was provided all of their sauces so I could customize it anyway I wanted to. The lamb was incredibly tender, and a large amount of it too. The chicken was nicely seasoned and in small morsels. The rIce was very different from the Afghan type, this almost a seemed like a Spanish style, but very good. Even the salad was fresh and had red ripe tomato on it. Once I started applying the sauce everything came together nicely. As the photos show, the white sauce does really go well with this, but I also liked the vinegar-ish hot sauce. The fries were ok, crinkle cut and large portion for the price. The dessert was tasty too, even more so because of it being free I'm definitely coming back for more, the gyro looks great and I'm curious about the steak sand too. I kind of wish this was in Hamilton, or closer to Hamilton. I hope it can thrive where it's at though.
